Fixcraft shafts – made of 7075 T6 Series 4 tapered aluminium good-ness. Now available in two wall thicknesses, with a new Xtra Tuff (1.2mm wall) shaft added to the line up…. if you’re prone to wrapping your mallet around your front wheel this should be your shaft of choice!, if not the original “LT” will serve you well, still super strong but a little lighter. All shafts now come bundled with the “trick” long nut for super sweet head attachment and a rubber end cap to stop you impaling yourself on the top of your mallet shaft!.

Stiff and strong with a great backsweep, plus you can cut ‘em really narrow and still get your brake lever on the bars without the clamp jamming up – the top bar is 22.2mm right across – clever eh! Plus they put you in the perfect riding position for bike polo.

POLO BAR + STEM COMBO

Short of purchasing a whole new polo specific frame this has to be the best upgrade to your current polo rig and it’s going to cost you a whole lot less. The DMR Headstock stems are CNC’d and really well made. The 60mm length offers the right amount of quick turning at slow speed without the twitchiness that shorter stems often give when chargin’ down the court at full speed.

Balls from the UK specifically made for hardcourt bike polo, similar to the famous Franklin Reds but in colours to suit your mood. These were the balls used at the European Hardcourt Bike Polo Champs 2011 in Barcelona, London Open and at Winter Whack ii – they are really good, you will like them!

Perform best at temps up to 20°C…hotter than that and you’d best throw a “Canadian Orange” ball on court.

Ok, so these are designed as “Junior league gloves” for street hockey but have all the features and the adult hand sizes you need for Bike Polo. Great hand protection from other players mallets, that pesky chainlink fence and the asphalt court when you hit the deck.
